100 MB per file. On-device OCR supports English and Chinese + English. PDF exports require unencrypted files. Some page structures may need checking in the original.

Bring the relevant passages together

Search the reports, papers or manuals you already have. A single query checks the available text across your local files. Filter by document, inspect the original page, and collect excerpts with their file names and page numbers.

  1. 1. Choose your documents

Open up to 20 PDFs, with a maximum of 100 MB per file and 200 MB combined. The workspace stays in this browser tab.

  2. 2. Find and verify

Search a word or phrase, then narrow by case, whole word or page range. Open a result to check the highlight against the original page.

  3. 3. Keep the evidence

Save useful excerpts during the session and download Markdown or CSV. Export the matching pages, or open a passage in the reader to annotate or listen.

A count for each document and page

A term can occur many times in one long report and only once in another. Document filters and page counts help you navigate without treating every occurrence as equally useful. File page numbers identify the position in the PDF; printed page labels can differ.

Scans remain part of the search

The workspace reports pages that still need text. Select a file and run on-device OCR for a page, range or document. Completed pages join the search progressively. Check important names, numbers and quotations on the scan.

A local research session

Documents, query text and evidence remain on your device during local search and recognition. Download your excerpts before closing the workspace; its file list and saved-excerpt collection are not a cloud library. Previously completed OCR can be reused from this browser's local cache.
