Use the pages and passages you need

Open your PDFs once and work with their content: search, recognize scans, select evidence and prepare a smaller document to keep. Local tools create new downloads and leave your original files unchanged.

  1. 1. Open your PDFs

Choose one document or a set of up to 20. Native text becomes searchable as the pages are checked.

  2. 2. Choose the content

Search for matching pages, or enter a page range such as 1-5,8. Enter 3,1-2 to put page 3 first. Choose a quarter-turn rotation when needed.

  3. 3. Export the result

Download selected pages, merge documents in the listed order, or export text, Markdown and the current page as a PNG image.

Extract a smaller PDF from search results

Find the topic first, then download the matching pages. When only some pages have searchable text, the result includes only the matches currently available. Finish recognition before treating it as a complete collection.

Merge, split, rotate and reorder

Merge the open files in their displayed order. To split a document, enter one range and download it, then repeat for the next part. To reorder, enter page numbers in the required order. A selected rotation is added to the original page rotation.

The full reader opens the selected file at the current page. Use its existing reading, annotation and listening controls when you want to work through the passage. Local search and exports are free; online services retain their own limits and availability.
